Grass frogs are distinctive amphibians with brownish-green skin and dark, irregular spots. Popular in biology classes for studies of anatomy, behavior, reproduction and life cycles. Available in multiple sizes. Only available November–March. Although this may look like a cotton ball or marshmallow, it is a foamy Spittle Bug protective covering. The soapy glob can be pulled off to reveal a half inch Meadow Spittle Bug or Frog Hopper. But be careful because they do jump out.
